I’ve been a long-time subscriber and follower, and I genuinely appreciate the value you provide. I haven’t personally taken your courses, but I’m confident they’re high quality and worth the price.

That’s why I felt disappointed by this video.

For the first part of the video, it sounded like you were making a major change to benefit the community and improve education. But in the end, the announcement was mainly a shift from one-time course purchases to a subscription-based model. There’s nothing wrong with building a profitable business , honestly, I respect that, and I understand why subscriptions are more sustainable and profitable.

What bothered me was the way it was presented.

The title and the emotional buildup made it seem like this was about putting people before money, while the actual change feels more business-focused than community-focused. A subscription model means people have to keep paying to revisit courses they already learned from, whereas a one-time purchase gives lifelong access and the ability to return to the material anytime in the future.

Again, I’m not against you making money or growing your business. I just wish the messaging had been more direct and transparent instead of framing it as a sacrifice or a people-first decision. I respect you, which is why I’m being honest about how this came across to me.
