As a Vijay fan living in Poland, I can still say this clearly petrol prices are not controlled by one party or one election. India imports most crude oil, so global prices, dollar rate and international crises directly affect fuel rates. Even in countries like Poland and across Europe, fuel is often more expensive than India.
And yes, when global crude oil prices fell, fuel prices in India were also reduced. It’s not one sided. Fuel pricing is economics, not political drama.
